CyanogenModがオープンソースではないアプリを含んで配布していることが問題となって削除されましたが、4.1.99となって復活しました。一旦、ADPかGoogle IONの1.6イメージに戻した後、CyanogenModの4.1.99を適用するようになっています。おそらく、ADPやION等の公式なファイルに含まれているクローズドなアプリをそのまま使うようになっているのでしょうね。

で、早速やってみましたが、てこずりました。
Google ION 1.6
CyanogenMod 4.1.99
上記ページのION 1.6をCM recoveryからflashしようとしたところ、何やらチェックに引っかかってアップデートできません。そこで、fastbootからフラッシュする方法を使い(使うファイルも違います)、Google ION化。続いて、CyanogenMod 4.1.99をフラッシュ。念のため、wipeを行い再起動させたところ、スプラッシュ画面のまますすみません。
フォーラムを読みながら、起動スクリプトを書き換えてみたり、IONのかわりにGDDJを使ってみたり、セカンドパーティションとスワップパーティションを切り直したり、いろいろとやってみたけど状況は変わらず。
次のバージョンを待つしかないかな…と思っていたところで、以下の書き込みを見つけました。
You don’t flash the ION image. That won’t work! Reading the last 35 odd pages would tell you that.
You need to flash the ADP image. Don’t forget Cyanogen Mod is developed for G1 primarily, NOT MAGIC.

If you have a 32b magic, then DO NOT follow steps 3 and 8 – they are for 32a users only.Really folks, its not that hard to work this out.
ION 1.6のファイルではなく、ADP 1.6のファイルを使えばいける！？32aか32bなのか、わかりませんでしたが、fastbootを起動してみると32bと書かれているので、以下の手順の3番と8番を飛ばして実行すれば良いようです。
1. Download HTC ADP 1.6 DRC83 (http://www.androidspin.com/downloads…ooted_base.zip)
2. Download CyanogenMod 4.1.99 (http://n0rp.chemlab.org/android/expe….99-signed.zip)
3. Download my 4.1.99 Port file (http://fdsfiles.com/temp/rad-4.1.99-32a-bfs302v3.zip) (md5sum: 2b33a2d57b1497c167e50dfbec23953f)
4. Copy all three .zip files to your SD and reboot in recovery mode (press Home+Power at the same time)
5. Do a “Wipe data/factory reset” and then a “Wipe SD: ext partition”
6. Apply Zip: HTC_ADP_1.6_DRC83_rooted_base.zip
7. Apply Zip: update-cm-4.1.99-signed.zip
8. Apply Zip: rad-4.1.99-32a-bfs302v3.zip
9. Reboot
10. Either grab some popcorn and watch adb lolcat as it goes past, or go do something else.. this might take a while
結果は…
無事、4.1.99となりました。いや、めでたい。Google MapsやGoogle talk、マーケットなども引き続き使用できます。
次からはCM updaterでアップデートできるのかな。
